The Reluctant Time Traveler Review

1. THE RELUCTANT TIME TRAVELER by Lynda Eymann is a Time Travel Romance/Fantasy. Although a unique theory of time travel is woven into the story, it is NOT Science Fiction.

2. This novel is definitely intended for a MATURE audience, but most readers of modern romance will NOT consider it to be "soft porn." If THE RELUCTANT TIME TRAVELER were a movie, it would be given a rating of PG-13.

3. Although no one can predict who will like any particular book, you will probably appreciate this story if you enjoy well-written, fast-paced novels with paranormal elements. To determine if THE RELUCTANT TIME TRAVELER will appeal to you, be sure to "Look Inside the Book" or download the FREE Kindle sample before you purchase it.

4. The current paperback edition of The Reluctant Time Traveler is a high quality 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" TRADE paperback--NOT a Mass Market paperback. The Kindle edition was formatted specifically for the Kindle and can be found at this link: The Reluctant Time Traveler.

Entertaining Story - Tracy - South Carolina
This is an entertaining story about a mature woman, taking no risks in her life, who suddenly has her destiny as a time traveler thrust, unwelcomly, upon her. The writing is a bit amateurish, but the story itself is innovative and creative. All in all I kept reading it because I did care about the characters and I wanted to know how it turned out. I don't know that I will bother with the sequel, but, in general, I enjoyed the time that I spent in the world that Ms. Eymann created.

An Enjoyable FANTASY--NOT Sci-Fi - Maggie D. -
This book isn't science fiction. It's FANTASY. There isn't an iota of science or science fiction in it. Most of the story takes place in the 19th century. There's a wonderful hero, a spooky setting, and lots of lightning, but there isn't a machine or scientific theory in sight.

"Her pig of a husband" is a phrase which occurs only a few times in the first chapter. It seemed like an appropriate--and funny--term of "endearment" to me. It certainly wasn't used so many times that it irritated or frustrated me.

I loved "The Reluctant Time Traveler." I liked the heroine, adored the hero, and enjoyed the unusual storyline. I think anyone who likes time travel novels with old-fashioned Gothic settings and romance will enjoy this book as much as I did.

The Reluctant Time Traveler - Clara - Hillsboro, OR USA
I don't quite understand all the great reviews of this book. I was so excited to read this. If I read "my pig of a husband" one more time I'll rip my hair out. Couldn't the author thing of something else to say? Unfortunately is seems a little science fiction for my taste.

Can not even finish this book...
